The Story

I’m Hailey Laws. After years of special education teaching in and out of the classroom, I started Learn Like U to combine my own expertise, style, resources, and community, with what I love- working on behalf of brilliant square peg students.

My work at Learn Like U is collaborating directly with neurodiverse learners, their families, and other amazing service providers to meet students where they are academically, and to strengthen their network of support. In my 1-on-1 work with students, I guide them towards self advocacy and self confidence, leveraging my own brand of fun and easeful relatability to help them understand themselves and their needs as neurodivergent learners. We work together as teammates, setting goals and practicing strategies that make content accessible for their specific brains. Students leave sessions knowing what is expected of them, how they can get there, and how to ask for support when they need it.
