As a credentialed education specialist, Hailey is qualified to teach across all subject areas. She has particular expertise in writing, reading, and math coaching, and can support all levels of classes, including Spanish.

Task management in the digital era is HARD for all of us, particularly those of us who require executive functioning support. How do I keep track of my work? What is Google Classroom? How do I study for my upcoming assessment? How do I break this big project into small pieces? Hailey has worked with her own learning differences both as a student and now as an adult. She is an expert at building adaptive toolkits to help students answer these questions for themselves, and she has the first hand understanding to guide them with loving support.

Hailey has expertise in an array of reading intervention protocols including Slingerland, Orton Gillingham, Fountas and Pinnell, Lexia Core5 and PowerUp, and many more! As a partner of Lexia, she can directly enroll students in their own personalized accounts online, to skill build and monitor their growth both independently, and in collaboration with their Learn Like U coach.

Learn Like U is happy to refer you to independent behavior specialist Iris Velasco. She will help you navigate the behavior side of the IEP process. Iris will coach your family on requests for assessment, designing and navigating Behavior Plans, and making sure your student’s needs are being fully addressed by their team at school.
